So we went to St. George last weekend to visit the In-laws.  It was soooooo much fun!  Terences Mom & sister were there.  We stayed at his lovely aunt and uncles.  Then his cousin Alison and her kids were there too.  It was so great to see them.  We havent seen them since our wedding!  They are the sweetest people I know.  Were so lucky to have such a great family I cant even tell you enough.  So we got there saturday, partied & ate with the family.  We had some good catching up to do!  Although I am sooo very sad we didnt get any pictures.  I totally spaced the camera we were having so much fun!

ITS A GIRL!

Shyanne Alvarado

Shyanne was born early Tuesday morning
January 26th 2011
She is as perfect as can be. Mommy and baby were able to go home today!
Im so proud of my sister and her wonderful husband.
I can defianately say they make beautiful children.

Terence and I were lucky enough to get to see her on ther birthday.
She already had her eyes wide open, trying to figure out the world and looking right at mommy and daddy.  She already knows who they are and just stares at them.  How adorable is that?  We love her more than life itself already...

Welcome to the family Shyanne, were so lucky to have you here.
Your so beautiful :)

Here are some pictures of Shyanne on her birthday:

First time Ter & I met her....so happy and alert already!
Not even a day old!
We joked that she would be walking out of the hospital and talking.

She got really mad when we said that...
Just kidding
She is actually yawning...it was a long night for baby also.

 *Beautiful baby girl*

We love you Shyanne

Its "almost" been a year....

Wow, today I just realized that Terence and I have been married for 245 days!  We only have 120 more days to go & it will be ONE WHOLE YEAR since we said "I do".  I was the saddest girl EVER after our wedding was over.  I planned so much, cried, laughed, got a promotion, went through thick and thin with my family, got a new apartment, cried more, laughed more, loved more, forgave people for the hard times, cherished every moment as much as possible and didn't take anything for granted.  Going through all of this, I would do it 10 times over and over again.  I'm so thankful for everyone who have supported me and Ter during our "almost" first year together.  I could not ask for a better family.  If anything they are the people who have made me so strong and the person I am today.  I'm so lucky to have taken on such amazing in laws.  Terence feels the same way, even though my family can get a "bit" crazy!  Whos family isn't though, right?
Life has so many journeys and challenges.
I'm ready for those challenges.
Bring on the journeys so we can have a story to tell...

So to speak  WE ARE BRINGING IN THE NEW YEAR!
With or without new years resolutions.  Ter and I have eachother and that is all that matters at this point.

My FIRST designed light....

NOW THIS is what I call the Green Butterfly!  I was assigned for my final to design this wonderful lamp!  Honestly in the begining I didn't know what to do!  I was so lost and mad that I even had to do this.  I can honesly say It required lots of searching for all the bells and whistles on this guy.  I went days trying to fix it, at times I wanted to throw the dang thing against the wall!  Dont get me wrong, I love arts and crafts, I just had an empty brain this semester.  Must be the excitement of the holidays... :p
So here is what I have been up to the last few days.....

The Green Butterfly

Our First Christmas Tree...

As we grow old together (almost 7 months), we put up our first christmas tree.  We already have 5 presents under our tree (and they are all Terences).  What a spoiled husband.  He was very proud in helping with the decorating while I tried to make everything perfect.  Although, he insisted on putting a protractor on the tree (must be an engineer thing).  But I insisted on putting up the tree and just leaving it up throughout the year.  We are thinking about decorating it for each holiday.  We'll see if that really happens, who does that?  Must just be the idea of taking it down and looking empty.
16 days until christmas!
